Marsh Lake Bridge to Schwatka Lake Race starts at 11 am followed by bbq at Schwatka Lake The Icebreaker Paddle-A-Thon is to raise funds to purchase new beginner sprint canoes and kayaks youth programs. Please make pledge cheques payable to Flatwater Yukon.
Meet at Schwatka Lake parking lot at 9:30 a.m. Up North and Flatwater Yukon paddler and boat shuttles leave parking lot at 10:00 a.m. Race begins at approximately 11 a.m. at Marsh Lake Dam. Warm food and drinks available at the finish line as a FY fundraiser. Flatwater Yukon will supply canoes (recreational or marathon), PFD's and paddles. All you need is a club membership!
National Coaching Certification Program June 8-10, 2018
Flatwater Yukon is offering two NCCP coaching certification courses in the Sprint Community Coaching Stream: CanoeKIds and Entry Level Competitive Coach (ELCC) on the weekend of June 8 – 10, 2018. To register, you must have a Locker account, if you do not have one you will be required to create one. You will use this account information for all future courses with NCCP.
